Check transmission fluid, differential fluids, transfer case fluid & operation, Check tune-up parts, cooling system for leaks, belt & hoses. Check the starting and charging system, check steering and suspension systems. Inspect tires. Check brakes; Front brakes (6mm) Rear shoes (4mm). Tire Tread Remaining Front 9/32 Rear 7/32. Left axle shaft seal is starting to leak a bit.

    • Check PCM with Scan Tool. Code #P144A Evap. purge line blocked. Fuel filler neck is leaking. P1450 Unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum. Evaporative purge valve is stuck open. Needs the purge valve and the fuel filler neck replaced.
    • Remove and replaced the canister purge solenoid.
    • Remove and replaced the fuel tank filler neck/pipe.

    • Check PCM with Scan Tool. Code # P0016 Camshaft timing misalignment at idling ( bank 1 intake ). Check the oil condition and level. Use can tool to actuate the VVT and the test responding good. Clear the code and test drive the vehicle. No code come back and vehicle runs good. Did not find any thing related it to check engine at this time. The only thing we can recommend is replacing the VVT oil control filters and the oil control solenoid for bank one intake.
    • Remove and replaced the vvt oil control valve bank one intake.
    • R&R both valve cover gaskets to replace the VVT oil control filters.

    • Check PCM with Scan Tool. Code #P1101 Intake airflow system performance. MAF sensor has been replaced with aftermarket. Need to install a factory Chevrolet part. Track record for aftermarket MAF sensors is poor.
    • Removed and replaced the MAF sensor.
