2008 Toyota Sequoia
Mileage160,600Service Date1/9/2025Services Performed- Check PCM with Scan Tool. Code # P0016 Camshaft timing misalignment at idling ( bank 1 intake ). Check the oil condition and level. Use can tool to actuate the VVT and the test responding good. Clear the code and test drive the vehicle. No code come back and vehicle runs good. Did not find any thing related it to check engine at this time. The only thing we can recommend is replacing the VVT oil control filters and the oil control solenoid for bank one intake.
- Remove and replaced the vvt oil control valve bank one intake.
- R&R both valve cover gaskets to replace the VVT oil control filters.
