Services Performed
- Check alternator output, check starter draw, load test battery, check for drains and check battery terminals. Cranks ok but sometimes does not start.
- Check PCM with Scan Tool. Codes #P0016 Cam/crank correlation. P0116 Coolant and air temp. excessive variation Removed the valve cover to inspect cam timing. Found the timing chain had a broken guide and had jumped. Needs the timing chain and guides replaced.
